The Salt Lake Tribune Advertising Policy
Advertisers are responsible for ensuring that paid advertising is accurate and complies with all applicable laws and regulations. Audiences should be able to clearly understand that what they see is paid advertising and who or what entity has paid for it.
We expect our advertising to be in line with our community guidelines, which prohibit the following:
Personal threats or attacks
Obscenities, vulgarities and profanity
Hate speech, including racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia and/or religious bigotry
Misinformation
The Tribune reserves the right to reject or remove any paid content that is demonstrably false, libelous, illegal, misleading, invades personal privacy, or is in violation of these guidelines or Tribune standards at its discretion.
All political advertising (including for federal, state, and local campaigns) should adhere to FEC regulations.
