Go ‘night owling’ at Mount Timpanogos
Head to Mount Timpanogos in Utah Valley for Night Owling, a professionally guided snow shoe tour presented by the Great Basin Wildlife Rescue through Sundance Mountain Resort. On Jan. 31 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., experts will use live owls to teach participants about wildlife in the winter and how to call and locate owls in the area. See Ballet Hispánico at BYU
BYU Arts presents Ballet Hispánico on Feb. 4 at 7:30 p.m. in the Pardoe Theatre on campus. Ballet Hispánico is a national Latino dance organization that just celebrated its 50th anniversary. Tickets are $35 for the general public and can be bought online at bit.ly/3o0QT3M. Per university guidelines, this event requires proof of COVID-19 vaccination or a negative test taken in the last 72 hours (required for those ages 12 and up). Masks are required inside the venue. No babies or children under age 6 will be admitted.

Dance to the music of Taylor Swift and Olivia Rodrigo
Join Urban Lounge (241 500 E., Salt Lake City) on Feb. 5 from 8 p.m. to 1 a.m. for “22 and good 4 u,” a dance party featuring the music of pop stars Taylor Swift and Olivia Rodrigo. Tickets are $15 in advance (available online at bit.ly/3G7GpG6) or $20 the day of. Proof of COVID-19 vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test taken within the last 72 hours is required for entry.
