Trick-or-treat on Park City’s Main Street
Park City’s Halloween on Main Street 2021 invites kids to trick-or-treat from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m., courtesy of participating merchants. Main Street will be closed to cars starting at 2 p.m., and the Historic Park City Alliance and Park City Municipal Corporation strongly encourages the use of alternative transportation. Dogs are welcome as long as they’re kept on a leash.

Get out and vote on Election Day
Tuesday is the day when Utahns will elect mayors and city council members. It’s also the day when we’ll start to see those election results, though it may take awhile to sort out the winner in tight races. And 23 cities are trying out ranked-choice voting, giving the public the ability to list not only their favorite candidate but also their backup choices as well.

Enjoy up-and-coming talent at Utah Symphony’s Salute to Youth concert
The Utah Symphony’s 61st Salute to Youth concert starts at 7 p.m. Each year, Utah’s young musicians participate in an extensive audition process for the chance to play a movement of a concerto on the Abravanel Hall with the Utah Symphony. This year’s performers are Eliza Hart (violin), Sarah Kendell (violin), Emma Phippen (harp), Sabrina Allen (piano), Jill Smith (piano), Stella Wadsworth (cello), Alina Baron (violin), Ezekiel Sokoloff (violin) and Ellen Hayashi (violin). Tickets are $15 and can be bought online at bit.ly/3jDVNle. All patrons eligible for vaccination are required to show proof of vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test. Unvaccinated patrons are required to wear masks.

Check out free art with the Downtown Provo Art Stroll
On the first Friday of every month, Provo art galleries stay open late for the Downtown Provo Art Stroll. The free event is open to the public and often includes refreshments with live music. Cheer on Utah Grizzlies as they play Rapid City Rush
