Does anyone in the Big 12 have a better home-field advantage than the Utah Utes?
With the highly anticipated release of the new EA Sports College Football 25 less than a month away, the company released a top-25 ranking of the game’s toughest home-field advantages this week.
The Utes were the only Big 12 program to make the top 25.
The Utes and Rice-Eccles Stadium, which has a capacity of 51,444, came in at No. 18 on the rankings, just ahead of the acclaimed Darrell K. Royal-Texas Memorial Stadium in Austin and Iowa’s Kinnick Stadium.
In 2023, the Utes boasted a 6-1 home record in Salt Lake City, with their lone loss coming against then-No. 8 Oregon on Oct. 28. Over the last three years, Utah has an 18-1 record at home, which is good for one of the best marks in the nation during that span.
EA Sports College Football 25, the new NCAA football video game, is set to officially release on July 19 and hype is building for Utah and college football fans alike.
