Here are the 9 players from Utah and BYU headed to the NFL Combine

Six players from Utah and three from BYU get the invite.

Nine players from the state of Utah will be attending the NFL Combine, including six from the University of Utah.

All three of the Utes’ most well-known prospects received an invite: safety Cole Bishop, offensive lineman Sataoa Laumea and two-way player Sione Vaki. Each of them was invited to the Senior Bowl earlier this month.

But the NFL also invited edge rusher Jonah Elliss, wide receiver Devaughn Vele and offensive lineman Keaton Bills to Indianapolis.

Elliss was a junior who had 12 sacks last year. Vele played five seasons but never had over 700 receiving yards in a single year. He finished with 593 yards and three touchdowns in 2023.

Bills recorded 36 starts at left guard in five years.

BYU had three prospects invited, including offensive lineman Kingsley Suamataia. The junior is seen as BYU’s best NFL prospect this year. He played two years in Provo after transferring from Oregon.

Kedon Slovis was one of 14 quarterbacks invited. Punter Ryan Rehkow was among the handful of specialists going to the Combine.

Utah State and Weber State did not have any invites this year.

The Combine will start on Feb. 26.
