WATCH: Utah State soccer player scores incredible long-range goal

The undefeated Aggies are ranked No. 11 in the country.

Everything has gone right for the Utah State soccer team this season.

Last week, the Aggies went on the road and beat the Utes for the first time since 2015. Then they took down BYU in Provo.

They’ve outscored opponents 13-1 and earned the No. 11 rank in the country along the way.

And when things are going good, they’re really going good.

Just ask USU midfielder Kaitlyn Richins.

Standing in her own half Thursday night against Utah Valley, the senior sent a free kick sailing toward the goal. The ball fell between players just outside the six-yard box and over the head of the Wolverine’s surprised goalkeeper.

The highlight reel goal gave the undefeated Aggies a 1-0 lead in the third minute of play.
