Major League Soccer scoring leader Chicho Arango scored two goals and added two assists as Real Salt Lake routed the host Chicago Fire 4-0 on Saturday at Soldier Field.
Real Salt Lake improved to 4-2-3 and moved into second place in Major League Soccer’s Western Conference.
Andres Gomez scored in the 24th minute, with assists from Alexandros Katranis and Arango, to give RSL a 1-0 lead.
Arango then scored in the 33rd and 37th minutes, with an assist from Bryan Oviedo on his second goal. Arango now has eight goals and six assists this season.
In the 93rd minute, Diego Luna capped the scoring with an assist from Arango.
The Fire dropped to 2-4-3 on the season.
Real Salt Lake will return to action on April 27 at Philadelphia.
