Utah Jazz release their 2024-25 NBA schedule, and there are some unique aspects

What you need to know about the upcoming NBA season.

Ah, schedule day.

For die-hard Utah Jazz fans, it’s an important guide to how they’ll be spending time during the seven months of the NBA season.

On Thursday, the NBA released full regular season schedules for its 30 NBA teams. For the Jazz, there are some interesting and new aspects, potentially because this is the first season the team will be sharing the Delta Center with an NHL hockey team.

Jazz's schedule for the 2024-25 season.

For one, the schedule has extremely long home and road trips. The Jazz currently don’t have a home game scheduled from Dec. 2 through Dec. 28, though one will likely be scheduled as an NBA Cup playoff or makeup game in the month’s middle week. But they do have an eight-game home stand right after the All-Star break, immediately followed by a five-game road trip out East.

The team also has four Sunday home games this season: one in December, one in January, and two in March.

And while the schedule can change, the team only has three national TV games right now, all on NBA TV: a matchup against Luka Doncic and the Dallas Mavericks on Nov. 14, a Saturday home matinee game at 3 p.m. MT against the Knicks on Nov. 23, and a 7:30 p.m. MT matchup against the Detroit Pistons on March 3.

The Jazz open their schedule against the Memphis Grizzlies at the Delta Center on Oct. 23, followed by a matchup against the Golden State Warriors at home on Oct. 25.
