NBA All-Star events will close some roads downtown, near U. campus. Here are the spots to avoid.

All-Star Weekend activities will run through Sunday at Vivint Arena, the Salt Palace and Huntsman Center.

Drivers should expect road closures around Vivint Arena, the Salt Palace and the Huntsman Center as the NBA’s All-Star game festivities get under way this week.

Here’s what you need to know to navigate the city through Sunday.

Downtown

• 100 South between 300 and 400 West has been closed since Friday.

• 300 West between South Temple and 100 South is also now closed.

• 200 West and 300 West between North Temple and 200 South were expected to be closed to traffic Thursday after 2 p.m., according to Visit Salt Lake.

• South Temple between 300 and 400 West Is also scheduled to close then.

• 400 West northbound between South Temple and 200 South is set to close Thursday at 2 p.m. Southbound lanes were slated to remain open.

Huntsman Center

The Huntsman Center closures will start on Friday. The two westbound lanes on South Campus Drive from Mario Capecchi and 1800 East will be closed from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m.

The eastbound lanes will remain open, as well as the TRAX routes to the hospital.

Ride Share

There are two spots designated for Uber, Lyft and other pickups downtown:

• 100 South between Main Street and West Temple

• North Temple between 300 and 400 West
