While the Utah Jazz were busy hiring their new head coach, Jordan Clarkson was in New York City ... participating in a giant water balloon fight.
Hundreds of people gathered in Central Park on Saturday for the event organized by Sidetalk, a popular Internet man-on-the-street show based in New York. In a video making the rounds on social media Tuesday, Clarkson can be spotted as one of the joyful participants.
Clarkson’s personality has made him one of the more recognizable players in the NBA ... even if he’s not always recognized on the streets of Salt Lake City.
“I’m different than [anyone] in the world, period. I would say I’m from another planet!” Clarkson told The Salt Lake Tribune in January.
Whether it’s his fashion choices or his notorious “good vibes,” Clarkson has routinely flashed his off-the-court life. This water balloon fight is just another example in the long list Clarkson and his teammates give of what makes him unique beyond basketball.
