BYU leaps over Utah in the latest AP Top 25 poll

The Cougars are 5-0 after beating Baylor on the road.

The Cougars leapfrogged the Utes in this week’s Associated Press Top 25 poll, moving up to No. 17 in the country after beating Baylor on the road.

The Utes dropped eight spots to No. 18 in the wake of Saturday night’s home loss to Arizona.

The Cougars (5-0) and the Utes (4-1) both have byes this week.

The Utes next play on Oct. 11 at Arizona State. BYU will host Arizona on Oct. 12.
