Eye on the Y: How will the Cougars fare in their second season in the Big 12?

It’s 117 degrees in Las Vegas today, but somehow it’s starting to feel like football season.

As Big 12 media days kick off here, BYU coach Kalani Sitake and five of his players will represent the Cougars in Sin City this week. BYU is bringing some of its top talent: wide receivers Chase Roberts and Darius Lassiter will join Sitake, along with offensive lineman Connor Pay, defensive end Tyler Batty and cornerback Jakob Robinson.

But let me ask you … do the Cougars have enough talent to surprise people this season?

How to watch Big 12 media day

The Cougars take the stage on Wednesday.

Sitake will join ESPNU at 12:40 p.m. MT and Roberts will follow at 12:55 p.m.

Sitake will then speak to reporters from 1-1:15 p.m. That will be streamed on ESPN+.
