It is the second of three postponed games to be rescheduled

(Rick Egan | The Salt Lake Tribune) Brigham Young Cougars head coach Mark Pope gives instructions to his team, in basketball action between the Brigham Young Cougars and the Weber State Wildcats at Vivint Arena, on Wednesday, Dec. 23, 2020.

BYU men’s basketball has gotten another game back.

During the holiday break, the Cougars had three consecutive games postponed due to COVID-19 related issues within the opposing programs. BYU was originally scheduled to face San Diego Jan. 2, but will now face the Torreros Feb. 2.

The date opened up after BYU and Gonzaga were able to move up their game (originally scheduled for Feb. 2) to Jan. 7.

The first game to be postponed, at Pepperdine, has been moved to Jan. 27. The Cougars are still looking to fit in their third postponed game, at Pacific, into the remaining schedule.
