Jerome Myles, a four-star wide receiver from Corner Canyon High School in Draper, announced on social media Sunday night that he has withdrawn his commitment to the University of Southern California.
“After talking with my family and god I’ve decided to decommit from the University of Southern California,” Myles wrote on X. “Please respect my decision,” he added.
Myles, 6-foot-3 and 220 pounds, is ESPN’s No. 6 wide receiver and the No. 33 overall prospect in the 2025 ESPN 300.
ESPN reported that Myles visited Texas A&M for the Aggies’ Week 14 game against Texas over the weekend.
Myles won the 100-meter dash during the Utah high school state track and field meet on May 18 at BYU, breaking a 43-year-old state record. His finishing time of 10.36 seconds crushed the one set by Murray’s Brian Hazelgren in 1981 (10.47).
Myles also won the 200-meter race.
Myles originally committed to Ole Miss in April, but decommitted in June, and committed to USC in September. He was the top prospect in USC’s 2025 recruiting class.
