When will Utah Hockey Club fans be able to get team jerseys?

Utah Hockey Club will play without an official name for the 2024-25 season.

Utah Hockey Club fans will be able to represent their new team with inaugural-season jerseys as early as November, the organization has announced.

The official uniforms will be sold in the Utah Hockey Club team store as well as uhcteamstore.com.

The team will sport “Utah” down the front of its chest for at least the 2024-25 season.

The jersey colors are “Rock Black,” “Salt White” and “Mountain Blue,” pulling in aspects from the state the team now calls home.

Utah’s sweaters — and all NHL teams’ for that matter — are made in partnership with Fanatics which is the league’s e-commerce, fan apparel and jersey supplier. The process for designing and producing a new jersey typically takes about 18 months.

Utah Hockey Club came into existence on April 18, when owner Ryan Smith bought control of the Arizona Coyotes’ assets, so it has been a quick turnaround to get things ready on and off the ice.

“I think we delivered a clean, crisp, classic home and away jersey to our fans and our players for Season One that we’re really proud of under the timelines that we had to put it together, and quite frankly, we don’t expect we’ll change that much time because of how positive the response has been,” Utah president of hockey operations Chris Armstrong told NHL.com. “I think we can continue to refine, evolve and improve them, but at the core, we’re really happy with where we got to for this first season.”

An official team name has yet to be determined. Armstrong said the franchise is taking feedback from fans into consideration, and that it is an extended process due to the legal and trademarking laws.

“We really want the fan base and the community to be part of building the identity of this team,” Armstrong said during Wednesday’s media day at the Delta Center. “We’re in that process now of determining what is achievable in that realm.”
