Here’s who will announce Utah Hockey Club games on TV this season

The franchise’s broadcast crew includes a mix of veterans from across the NHL landscape.

Utah Hockey Club stars Logan Cooley and Dylan Guenther won’t be the only talent making the move from Arizona.

Longtime play-by-play announcer Matt McConnell, who spent the last 13 seasons calling Coyotes games in the desert, will lead Utah’s broadcast team next season.

“We are thrilled to bring together this talented and experienced team of broadcasters for Utah Hockey Club, who will undoubtedly provide the best possible experience for all fans — providing new insights to our most knowledgeable viewers while also educating and engaging those who are new to hockey,” club president Chris Armstrong said in a news release. “We are confident that their expertise and passion will elevate the viewing experience and help us to build a strong and passionate fanbase.”

Also joining Utah Hockey Club’s broadcast team will be:

(Utah Hockey Club) The NHL franchise has announced its TV broadcast crew for the 2024-25 season.

Dominic Moore, analyst The retired NHL player who has worked the last three seasons as an analyst for NBC and ESPN.

Nick Olczyk, analyst — Olczyk was the Seattle Kraken’s color analyst the last two years.

• Kim Becker, studio host — A former competitive figure skater with nearly a decade of broadcast experience, most recently as the host of Colorado’s Avalanche LIVE on Altitude TV.

Sarah Merrifield, rinkside reporter — A former sideline reporter and pregame host for Bally Sports in Dallas, covering the Stars, Rangers and Mavericks.

This season, non-nationally exclusive Utah Hockey Club games will be broadcast locally on KUPX-TV Channel 16.
