While some high school football players chose to sign national letters of intent to local schools such as Utah, BYU or Utah State, some of the state’s top talent decided to continue their careers elsewhere.
A dozen players signed with out-of-state schools, highlighted by four-star recruits Jaxson Dart and Jackson Light of Corner Canyon High School, and Kingsley Suamataia of Orem High School.
Dart chose USC on Wednesday morning, while Light and Suamataia had already committed to the University of Oregon.
