Latter-day Saints earn a mention in the latest episode from Season 4 of Apple TV’s “Ted Lasso.”

In a conversation with the Lady Greyhounds’ insecure assistant coach, Alice Chilton (played by Tanya Reynolds), the forever optimistic and upbeat Lasso (Jason Sudeikis) reminds her that it’s OK to say “no” sometimes.

“Heck, if human beings never said no,” he counsels, “we’d all have a time share in Maui and be members of the Church of Latter-day Saints, you know?”

For those members of Utah’s missionary-minded predominant religion offended by the wisecrack or by the fact that Lasso didn’t use the faith’s full name — The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints — we offer one piece of advice:

Be a goldfish.
