Letter: I can think of a number of government officials that DOGE could cut for not justifying their wages

During one of many DOGE announcements Elon Musk mentioned employees that were not doing anything to justify their wages, so that was the reason for dismissal.

With that in mind, might I suggest that DOGE suggest the removal of the Republican House and Senate, as they effectively are not doing anything to justify their salaries?

Instead of doing their jobs for the legislative branch, they are currently kowtowing to Trump. They really aren’t needed at this point and, though the savings would be minimal compared to the offset of the tax cuts, if you removed them and their staff, we the American taxpayers would save over $400 million alone. Plus, if you cut their medical and pensions, probably well over a billion or more. Just a thought.
