Letter: Why would you want to give Musk access to your personal information?

I am dismayed, to say the least, that UnPresident Elon Musk, with the aid and assistance of Trump, has been given access to all of our personal data and given that to a few young and unvetted hackers!

It is time we followed the money, as that famous saying goes.

I remember when America was really free!

If Musk contracts with Visa, I intend to cancel my Visa card directly; and I have already spoken with my banker who informed me that the bank has a non-Visa ATM card and offers Mastercard business credit cards; and there are already plenty of credit card companies who are more than willing to provide you with a credit card.

Why would you want to give Musk more access to your personal information? We should also stop doing business with anyone that does business with Musk.

Go to www.sec.gov, and in the top right hand corner, type in the name “Elon Musk” or any of these other billionaire oligarchs and click on his, her or their name under “Edgar Filings” in the box that will appear below. If there is a CIK number next to the name, then you know you have the correct link. It will list every filing with his (or their) name in it that has ever been made with the United States Securities and Exchange Commission.

Forms 4 and SC13D/A’s are beneficial ownership reports of company shares owned; correspondence are letters from him or his representative; DFAN14A’s are Proxy Solicitations and the ones that will have a great deal of information.

I searched his name by going to the three vertical dots in the upper right hand column, then scrolling down to “find and edit” and then selecting “find” on the left and putting “Musk” in the blank box at the top. It will show you the number of times his name appears, and you can click the arrow to go to one after another and read what it says.

Most of these DFAN14As are how he offered to buy Twitter and was sued later. Even a copy of the legal action is appended. These should also list who he does business with; quit doing business with all of them!

America needs you; advertise this on all of your social media sites, just before you unsubscribe from X and Facebook.

There is “Bluesky,” recently profiled by MSNBC, and you can trust Rachel Maddow and Lawrence O’Donnell, among other excellent journalists, to call it straight and truthful! You can also put in any other name, like the company name “Amazon.” On these filings, look for the ones titled “10-K” on the left and click on “documents.” This will give you all of the year end information about the company. 10-Q’s are quarterly reports, with a lot of information about the particular quarter and the business.
