You will likely not be surprised that Utah’s senior senator is not a fan of Social Security.
Mike Lee suggested recently that Social Security is a Ponzi scheme set up to cheat America. He further called Social Security a nightmare and proposed the dismantling of the entire social protection system.
His rant was picked up by Elon Musk and Vivek Ramaswamy who discussed Lee’s threats at our nation’s Capitol with Republican lawmakers who amplified Lee’s threats by suggesting not only is Social Security being considered for dismantling, Medicare is also on the table for gutting.
Musk, Ramaswamy and Lee do not need Social Security or Medicare.
How fortunate for these ugly-wealthy people who are so far out of touch with average Americans.
But I am a retired teacher as is my spouse. We rely on Social Security as our main source of income and Medicare as our only insurance. We have paid for these programs throughout our lives.
Now Trump’s out-of-control “warriors” are threatening my and your income and insurance. People like me and many of you are in some serious trouble with people like Musk, Ramaswamy and Lee coming for our way of life.
