Letter: Cox might have been correct with his “I don’t hate enough” comment

The Tribune’s recent headline “Trump fared better than Cox in Utah” is extremely sobering. I’m no fan of Gov. Spencer Cox but, as far as I know, he’s not a felon, not a sexual abuser, not an adulterer, not a racist and not a serial liar — and yet he received less support than someone who is.

I guess Gov. Cox was correct when he told the state GOP convention last May that “maybe you (Utah Republicans) hate that I don’t hate enough.”
