Imagine diverse groups of people, all uniting in a Zoom call for a certain political candidate. Imagine a Zoom call where an enormous amount of money is raised for that political candidate. There must be reasons why this scenario would happen.
This candidate would undoubtedly have many policies that were concerning to all those participants. This candidate would clearly be intelligent and appealing. This candidate would be likely to focus on positive values and a vision of the future. This sequence of events has happened.
Many diverse groups have participated in these Zoom calls for Vice President Kamala Harris. Why? Harris has expressed a hopeful vision of the future. She has pursued voting rights legislation, introduced legislation to provide a tax credit of up to $6,000 for middle- and low-income families, and called for an “immediate cease-fire” in Gaza. She is also a supporter of reproductive rights for women and racial justice. She is an experienced prosecuting attorney, state attorney general, senator and vice president. Her policies, experience and smile make her an inspiring, refreshing and exciting candidate.
