Many states have banned abortions across America and, with that, prices of contraceptives should fall and all three variants of birth control (pill, patch, ring) should be more available to the public.
These medications aren’t just used to help practice safe intercourse. They are also used to help those who choose to use the product regulate their hormones and have a lighter, quicker menstrual cycle. With some of our population not having insurance, it could be difficult to sustain a monthly payment for such products, seeing prices as high as $300.
With Joe Biden wanting to cap insulin prices at $35 and Bernie Sanders wanting to also cap inhaler prices at $35, I think birth control should be in that deal as well.
