Letter: Four late print editions of The Tribune were delivered on the same day. What gives?

I’m curious how much The Salt Lake Tribune is paying the U.S. Postal Service for the shoddy service they provide.

On Jan. 3, my mail carrier delivered The Tribune’s Dec. 21, 28, Christmas and New Years’ editions.

It was a great idea to provide us subscribers with a printed Wednesday and Sunday edition of The Tribune, but when your partner is as inept as the Postal Service has become it’s a total waste of time and money.

I don’t need to read newspapers that are more than two weeks old which I’ve already viewed online.

I can’t believe I’m saying this, but is it time to privatize the U.S. Postal Service?

At least that way there might be some competition and some desire for them to do a good job for a change.
