Why did 53 percent of the Utah LDS population vote for Donald Trump in 2016 and 71 percent in 2020? Maybe in 2016 they just didn’t know him yet … but why the increase in 2020? The LDS Church is the “gold standard” when it comes to high moral values, honesty, integrity and for the most part – just being a decent person — the antithesis of Donald Trump.
I would welcome a rebuttal letter from a loyal LDS Trump supporter explaining how they can be true to their religious beliefs and yet support such a deplorable human being.
