Sen. Mitt Romney is correct when he called some of his fellow Republicans’ early praise of Putin’s invasion of Ukraine “almost treasonous.” The 14th Amendment to the Constitution, Article 3, has a name for those who are giving “aid or comfort” to the enemies thereof (the Constitution) – they are considered a “disability.”
Trump falls into that category when he called Putin “smart” and “genius” regarding his invasion of the free and sovereign nation of Ukraine. Russian TV played Trump’s message over and over to the Russian people as though Trump spoke for America and was lending support, which he does not.
A “disability” is by definition in Article 3 a person who is unfit to hold public office, whether elected or appointed ever, anywhere in the USA. Period! See ya later Donnie!
