Letter: What was there to settle with PTC’s Massimine?

Christopher Massimine, the “former” managing director of the Pioneer Theatre Company, lied about almost every item on his resume.

Instead of being fired on the spot, he was paid $175,000 by the University of Utah in a “settlement”? What was there to settle, that honesty is not a requirement for the job?

And Management Consultants for the Arts, Inc., the company that “vetted” and recommended Mr. Massimine, had to return about one half of its fee. Instead of half, they should be sued for repayment of the entire $175,000.
