I believe the merchants need to take the lead on the new mask policies from the CDC.
Recently I stopped at national chain grocery stores on two occasions.
I didn’t expect many masks on the customers though I wore one.
However I expected to see masks on the employees.
In both cases almost all employees were not wearing them. When I asked why, the cashiers said they were vaccinated and corporate policy said they didn’t have to.
And why should we expect the customers to wear them when the store staff doesn’t.
I hope we aren’t heading for another lockdown .
We also have a milk toast governor shaking in fear of the Legislature at a time when we need to get back to wearing masks and promoting vaccinations for the unwilling.
I am masking up again when I go out.
The governor needs to call a special session and they need to mandate masks again .
