Letter: What are Trump’s lemmings to do?

The Trump show has a consistent script, with villains, nicknames, grievances and the same hero: himself. The coronavirus is very scary for all of us. During a time of crisis, our president seems more concerned about his political future than the well-being of the American people.

He has continued to downplay, and even ignore, advice from the best medical experts in the world. He has been exposed to the virus but waited until Saturday morning to be tested. This was selfish, arrogant and a disservice to the people who are around him every day.

So, what are the Trump “lemmings” to do if they cannot gather together to show support for their leader? More importantly, what is Trump to do when he cannot feed the appetite of his massive ego with his political rallies? Maybe he should just march toward the sea.

Bill Owens, Sandy
