It’s rich that Ron Rice called for “a dose of intellectual honesty” before distorting all the facts in his recent letter to The Salt Lake Tribune.
Mr. Rice asserts that Donald Trump is “far from racist,” while conveniently ignoring Trump’s history of housing discrimination, his “s---hole countries” remark, his “go back” tweets, his recent attacks on Rep. Elijah Cummings, etc.
Contrary to what Mr. Rice wrote, Trump did not tell the “squad” to “go fix the problems in countries that are not great like the United States.” Trump actually tweeted “they (should) go back and help fix the totally broken and crime infested places from which they came.”
I guess Fox “News” neglected to inform Mr. Rice that three of the “squad” were born in the same country as he was and that all four are U.S. citizens.
Mr. Rice went on to say “these incompetent imbeciles… known as the ‘squad’ couldn’t fix a lemonade stand.” Again, I’m sure he formed his opinion of their capabilities and intelligence from Fox “News.”
All are smarter than a certain president, who only got into a good college because his daddy was chummy with the admissions director.
As far as fixing a lemonade stand, here’s what Trump would do: First, he wouldn’t pay his lemon supplier; next, he would sexually assault a female customer; finally, he would declare bankruptcy for the stand.
“Fake outrage,” Mr. Rice? No, the outrage is real. Very real.
