I’ve had the opportunity to go to court three times in the last two months because of an issue with a family member. I’ve witnessed both the South Jordan and the Taylorsville court systems.
What struck me the most is how our local judges must listen to negative situations day in and day out and then obviously have to find a way to "leave their job at work” as they go home to their families each night.
I was also impressed with how wise and fair the judges were no matter the defendant’s gender, race, age, or crime. The local judges deserve a big thank you for the work they do for our communities, and I’d like to be the first to say it. Thank you all.
