Letter: Keeping the African American population in check

According to The Tribune, Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas in his comments on an Indiana law regulating the disposal of fetal remains “sought to link birth control and abortion to eugenics.” I think I understand his reasoning.

According to recorded annual vital statistics in 2016, as in previous years, more African American babies are aborted than born alive in New York City. Margaret Sanger, founder of Planned Parenthood and a leading eugenicist of that era, would have found that statistic very satisfying.

Planned Parenthood is doing a superb job of keeping the African American population in check.
