Your voter guide for 2023 city races in Salt Lake County and Ogden

The Salt Lake Tribune asked mayoral and City Council candidates questions on key issues.

Ballots are hitting mailboxes and the countdown to Election Day is underway.

To help voters across Salt Lake County and in Ogden decide who will get their support, The Salt Lake Tribune reached out to City Council and mayoral candidates who will appear on ballots this month and asked them questions on key issues.

Voters in Salt Lake City, Midvale, Millcreek and South Salt Lake will select candidates through ranked choice voting. Other cities and towns will conduct traditional elections.

Salt Lake County mail-in ballots may be deposited in a ballot drop box, dropped off at any Election Day vote center or returned by mail. Ballots that are mailed in must be postmarked no later than Election Day, Nov. 21.
