New poll: Only 37 percent of voters want Trump re-elected. Love sues SL County over ballot counting. McAdams lead slipping.
Happy Wednesday. Don’t show this poll to President Donald Trump. A new Monmouth University survey released yesterday showed the president’s approval rating stands fairly steady at 43 percent -- but only 37 percent of registered voters want to see him reelected, compared to 58 percent of voters who want someone new in the Oval Office come January 2021. Topping the news: Rep. Mia Love on Wednesday sued Salt Lake County Clerk Sherrie Swenson to halt ballot counting until her campaign is able to verify signatures on ballot envelopes. Swenson intends to continue her count on Thursday unless a judge says otherwise. [Trib][DNews][Fox13][ABC4]
