Evacuation orders have been issued for parts of Millard County as the Widemouth 2 Fire continues to grow in the area of Fishlake National Forest south of Kanosh.
Those in the Turkey Track Lane and Cemetery Road areas have been updated to “GO” status and have been told to leave immediately.
An evacuation shelter has been set up at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Stake Center at 25 South 300 West in Fillmore.
Areas from 300 South to Highway 91 are now in “SET” status and have been told to pack essential items and be ready to evacuate at a moment’s notice.
Meanwhile, people in the rest of Kanosh remain in “READY” status and are advised to stay informed and be ready for possible evacuations.
