Riverton • Three members of the Unified Fire Authority were injured while responding to a house fire in Riverton on Saturday afternoon.
Their injuries were minor.
Crews were dispatched just before 1 p.m. to 1230 W. 13200 South, where a garage fire was sparked by a car, according to UFA public information officer Benjamin Porter.
Porter said they were able to douse the fire relatively quickly, but then some flammable liquids inside the garage reignited. Three firefighters’ clothing caught fire, and the flames were extinguished quickly after they exited the garage.
