Logan, Utah • A 2-year-old child has died after officers found pulled them from a canal near Ellis Elementary School in Logan Friday evening.
At 6:34 p.m., Logan officials received a report of a missing two-year-old child from a home in Logan and began a search of the immediate area including a canal that runs near the Ellis Elementary School.
Officers located the child in the canal and found them to be unresponsive and began life-saving efforts before being transported to the hospital.
The child was ultimately pronounced dead.
