Police are continuing to search for two more suspects, including the shooter.

One suspect has been arrested after a man was found shot to death in a roadway in front of a South Salt Lake grocery store, and police are still searching for two other suspects.

Witnesses told police that a fight broke out about 10:15 p.m. Monday in the WinCo parking lot at 2193 S. Main St., and multiple gunshots were heard. When police arrived, they found the body of 27-year-old Romeo Charles Stevens in the nearby intersection of Main Street and West Utopia Avenue.

According to South Salt Lake police, a 27-year-old man has been arrested and booked into the Salt Lake County jail for investigation of murder and aggravated robbery. He is being held without bail.

Security video showed that the victim was chased through the Winco parking lot by two men and onto Main Street, where he was shot, according to a probable cause statement. A third man drove behind them — he picked up the other two suspects after the shooting and drove away.
