However, smoke will continue to blow into the state from West Coast wildfires, along with some smoke from the Parleys Canyon Fire. And there’s a red flag warning across most of Utah on Tuesday from noon-9 p.m. because of gusty winds, humidity as low as 10% and the danger of lightning. Evacuation orders prompted by the Parleys Canyon Fire will remain in effect through Tuesday because of the danger that the wind will cause the blaze to spread rapidly.

In addition, the National Weather Service has issued a flash flood warning in effect for central Utah through Tuesday evening, stretching from Utah County to the state’s southern border and extending into parts of southwestern Utah. A slow-moving storm system could produce heavy rain in some areas and cause flooding in slot canyons, dry washes and burn scars.
