Police issue alert for missing and endangered 7-year-old Utah girl

Authorities are searching for two women they believe took her.

Police have issued an alert for a 7-year-old Orem girl who is missing and considered endangered — and they’re looking for two women they believe took her.

Jocelyn Cortes was last seen at 5 p.m. on Monday at Classic Fun Center at 250 S. State St. with family members and has not been seen since, her mother told police. The child is 3-foot-6, weighs 40 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. She was wearing black and pink leggings, glitter shoes, and a pink jacket with a leopard hood.

She is believed to have been taken by her grandmother, Ivonne Cerda San Martin, and her aunt, Paola Bayon. San Martin is 5-foot-3, weighs 180 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. Bayon is 5-foot-4, weighs 140 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes.

The women were driving a 2000 Ford Mustang with Utah license plates F26-0BY.
