West Valley City police found a 12-year-old boy after he briefly went missing Monday.
Saul Mendiola left his home near 3800 S. 6600 West in the morning and hadn’t returned, police said in a tweet this afternoon.
Mendiola is 4 feet 11 inches tall and weighs 130 pounds. He has black, curly hair. He was last seen wearing a black sweatshirt with white squares on it and carrying a black backpack with a green stripe.
The police asked anyone with information about Mendiola to call 801-840-4000.
