Police offer $5,000 reward for information about the killing of SLC woman in 2018

Wanyun Judd was asleep in her bed when she was shot to death.

Salt Lake City police are offering a reward of up to $5,000 for information about the 2018 murder of Wanyun Judd.

The 47-year-old woman was asleep in her home at 54 E. Harrison Ave. at 6:24 a.m. on Sept. 28, 2018, when she was struck and killed by an “errant” bullet fired in a drive-by shooting. At the time, police said they believe Wanyun was “incorrectly targeted,” and the shooter has never been found.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Salt Lake City Police Department at 801-799-3000. Information that leads to an arrest and conviction is eligible for the reward.
