Man dies after being hit by train in Lehi

FrontRunner trains were delayed in Utah County while crews investigated the crash.

A man died Thursday night after he was hit by a FrontRunner train in Lehi.

The man, 35, was on the tracks near 300 North and 500 West at about 6 p.m. when a southbound train struck him, according to reports from FOX 13 and the Utah Transit Authority.

Buses were taking train passengers between American Fork and Lehi, UTA reported. Delays were likely north of Lehi and south of American Fork, UTA reported.
