Utah woman who went missing in Fort Lauderdale found dead

A Utah woman who was visiting Fort Lauderdale, Florida, for a work trip, and who had been missing for days, was found dead Saturday in a body of water near her hotel.

Kelly Glover’s body was located just as supporters were planning to meet to search near the hotel where she was last seen around 2 a.m. Thursday, her husband, Adam Bremer, said in a Facebook post.

Police do not suspect foul play, Fort Lauderdale Detective Tracy Figone said.

Glover, 37, had been staying at The Westin Fort Lauderdale which is located off of what police described as a “lake/pond.” That’s where officers found her body.

Police are still investigating what happened to Glover, and said the medical examiner would determine Glover’s cause of death.

Bremer, who has been posting on Facebook periodically asking for help finding his wife, said the search party would kick-off across the street from the hotel around noon Saturday.

He had arrived in Florida to look for Glover early Friday.

Later in the day, he posted a series of selfies of Glover and him, with the caption, “Just come home Sweetheart, just come home."

Less than 24 hours later, he posted the news that she had died.

He said he is still working on funeral arrangements, but that it will take place in Salt Lake City.

And ended the post with, “The family thanks everyone for their support and generosity during this time.”
