Salt Lake City fire officials told Gardner, his wife, Amber, left, and their three children this morning that they must vacate or be charged with a misdemeanor. Dozens of Salt Lake City residents living at the Georgia Apartments had 72 hours to evacuate their homes starting on Feb. 11, 2019, due to multiple violations that place tenants in extreme fire danger.

Lower was the radio operator on a B-24 Liberator bomber nicknamed “Old Baldy” that was shot down Aug. 1, 1943, over Ploiesti, Romania during Operation Tidal Wave.
