No one was seriously injured when an SUV drove off a parking structure in Salt Lake City and ended up wedged vertically between two buildings.

The driver of the vehicle suffered “minor injuries” said an SLCPD spokesman, who added that the cause of the accident remains under investigation.

According to police, the vehicle drove through a chain-link fence on the top level of the parking structure on 500 East between 100 South and South Temple and fell about 25 feet at about 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The driver, who was the only person in the SUV, was briefly trapped in the vehicle but was removed from the vehicle by a Salt Lake City Fire crew.
