Police have found an 85-year-old man who had walked away from the University of Utah’s medical center last week and didn’t return home.
Jim Bruce Dollar was reported missing after he was last seen around noon on Oct. 26 — more than a week ago — following a doctor’s appointment on campus, according to a Wednesday news release from Salt Lake City police. The agency tweeted about 10 p.m. that Dollar had been located.
Still, it’s unclear why the alert went out so long after he disappeared. Calls to the department were not immediately returned. And the release did not say where he was found.
