A Layton woman says she was sent to the emergency room after she found two cleaning tablets in her Starbucks drink.
Deniece Lee told FOX 13 that she bought a Green Tea Frappuccino on Sunday and drank at least half of it before her kids noticed there were pills at the bottom of the cup. In a video Lee posted to Facebook, she dumps her drink onto a patch of grass to reveal two white tablets. Shortly after filming the video, Lee went to an emergency room and started vomiting, according to FOX 13.
Starbucks and the grocery store where she purchased the beverage have both apologized to Lee, who says she thinks it was “an honest mistake.”
