Data Engineer
We are seeking a talented Data Engineer to join our product team and play a crucial role in enhancing our data infrastructure. As a Data Engineer, you will be responsible for integrating various data sources from vendors into Snowflake, performing data modeling, and implementing ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) transformations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work at the intersection of journalism and technology, enabling data-driven decision-making and enhancing our digital offerings.
Newsletter Editor
The Newsletter Editor will plan and execute the strategy for newsletter products across the state, starting with our expanded efforts in Cache Valley in the north, St. George in the south, and Moab in the southeast. Said strategies should be outcome-driven and informed by audience metrics, analytics, and sound news judgment. After the initial launch of the new products, the Newsletter Editor will provide guidance and occasional assistance to the editorial teams who run our social media accounts and own our 12 existing newsletter products.
Utah Lands Editor
The Utah Lands Editor to lead a team of four reporters devoted to covering how we engage with outdoor spaces across Utah. Home to five national parks, tens of millions of acres of federally owned land, the Colorado River, the Great Salt Lake, more than a dozen ski resorts and countless ranches and farms, there is no better place to be when it comes to reporting on the environment and the economy connected to it.
